Reflection as heritage


Above the fireplaces of classic interiors stood the trumeau, a gilded and carved frame that displayed the house's rank.

The Triomphe mirror echoes their scalloped silhouette and scrollwork, but without a hint of relief: here the moldings are engraved flat into the brass, in trompe-l'œil, and the ornament is reduced to a simple line. All that remains of these ceremonial mirrors is their essence, the reflection of whoever stands before them.


Triomphe takes its place


The Triomphe collection extends to the floor with the console of the same name. Born from a collaboration between Julien Gorrias and Gwladys Darlot of Studio Ibride, it reinterprets the arches and scrollwork of the mirror, giving them a new foundation. Where the mirror etches its ornament into a flat surface, the console gives it volume and function.


Mirror and console thus speak to one another as two sides of the same gesture: celebrating those who pass by, pause, and see themselves reflected today.

The Triomphe mirror, designed by Gwladys Darlot & Studio Ibride, extends the Triomphe collection inspired by triumphal arches, from Paris to Beijing, which celebrate victories

collectives. By reinterpreting this emblematic monument, the designer created a piece that combines architectural heritage with contemporary minimalism. Ideal for an entryway, living room, or bedroom, Triomphe adds an architectural dimension to any space.


Crafted in the Ibride workshop, the Triomphe mirror pairs a brass frame, engraved flat piece by piece, with a solid oak structure that ensures its stability and longevity. An artisanal craftsmanship, true to the demands of every Ibride creation.  

To care for your mirror, first dust it with a microfiber cloth to prevent scratches. Then clean it using a glass cleaner or a mixture of warm water and white vinegar, applying the solution to the cloth rather than directly onto the mirror. Finally, wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth to avoid streaks.
